Maybe you've never heard of Kaspersky Lab, but the chances that you've used the security technology found in Kaspersky Internet Security are quite good. Thus, the Russian company’s antivirus engine is used in dozens of better-known virus defenders. Firewall and antispyware protection bring Kaspersky out from the dark and into the light. This software has strong virus, spyware, spam, and firewall tools and is an equal competitor to Kingpins Norton Internet Security 2006 and McAfee Internet Security Suite 2006.
Since the launch of previous versions, this suite's interface has been redesigned. This piece of software is well organized. Important settings for antivirus, spyware, spam, and other security tools are easy accessible and just one click away from the main screen. The Kaspersky Internet Security product is highly recommendable with only a few minor faults.
Antivirus

It generates no false positives, prevented virus replication and disinfected all of the viruses that could be disinfected.
By default, Kaspersky updates their definitions every hour. This is unique compared to any competitor. With the frequent updates the chances that your PC gets infected. You can also choose to configure the program so you can receive automatic updates or you can manually update your program.
If your Internet connection is interrupted, the updates will resume. The cumulative updates, which are the ones that contain the entire virus database, are only half the size they used to be. The latest version employs a special technology so the program will use already existing anti-virus database for a cumulative update.

Don't forget that Kaspersky is a Russian company. With this fact in mind, the technical support from Moscow is quite expensive. However, they do provide technical support via e-mail in English, as well as in French and German. Online Kaspersky provides an interactive and thorough FAQ and an active user forum.
