CA Antispyware holds many of those features you normally find on a piece of spyware software. However, it’s missing some key features like a Spyware Severity Indicator. This is a nice and user friendly feature in many other programs. Like other great Antispyware products CA Antispyware gives you descriptions of the spyware and adware found on your computer. Be aware that you first need to connect to the Internet and open a webpage in order to view these. Some may find this unnecessary and time consuming.

CA Antispyware is a piece of software that at first glance doesn’t look to sophisticated. It's simple and easy to use. The program has three sections: Welcome, Scan and Advanced Settings. These categories contain subcategories that allow you to do everything from running and modifying scans to customization.

Installing CA Antispyware is a simple and quick download-easy and fast too.
Effectiveness
CA Antispyware is good at detecting most spyware and adware. It doesn't reveal everything, but as long as CA Antispyware has real-time tracking, you are well-protected.
Customization
Don't expect customization to your preferences to be one of CA Antispyware’s main strengths. However, there are some possibilities. Among the most practical ones is a quick and custom scan and changing real-time tracking settings.
Help/Support
CA Antispyware has numerous support applications: the program has a built-in help feature and their website offers a FAQs page. Computer Associates International provides you with a technical support number, but this isn't toll-free. CA Antispyware does have a toll-free customer service number, but it does not provide technical support. A toll-free technical support number would definitely increase PestPatrol’s rating in this area.
