Due to McAfee's antivirus products, McAfee has had a great reputation in the software industry. Unfortunately, McAfee's Antispyware program is not as good as McAfee's antivirus programs. The program offers many useful features like Scan Scheduling, Auto Updates and Real-Time Tracking. However, it's missing features such as spyware/adware descriptions and threat levels. With these features you would be able to determine whether the detected spyware and adware are dangerous or benign.

McAfee Anti-Spyware fails to detect much spyware. This product is not entirely ineffective, but on the other hand it’s not high quality if you compare to other AntiSpyware products.
